High Mark was Invited to Participates in the Legal Services Thematic Exhibition at the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services

    The 2023 China International Fair for Tradein Services was held from September 2 to 6, 2023 in Beijing at the ChinaNational Convention Center and surrounding venues including the NationalStadium and the Shougang Park. Hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People'sRepublic of China and the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) is a comprehensiveplatform that caters to expansive national and international exhibitions andtrading. CIFTIS leads the way as the first comprehensive exhibition platformglobally in the service trade sector, maintaining its status as the largest.Its reach covers 12 key areas in service trade. At the opening ceremony onSept. 2, President Jinping Xi delivered a video message and solemnly announceda series of major initiatives to promote the development of the global servicesindustry and trade in services. With the support of the Department of Justiceof Zhejiang Province and the Zhejiang Lawyers Association, selected by theMinistry of Justice, High Mark became one of the 36 outstanding foreign-relatedlaw firms selected to participate in the exhibition.

 

    In the exhibition area of the Pavilion,High Mark used the firm's promotional video as a medium and distributedbrochures and casebooks to the guests to show the characteristics of HighMark's foreign commercial legal services in all aspects.

 

    The exhibition was led by Grace Shi Lijia(executive director and partner of High Mark), Ruyin Li and Yun Yu and othermembers continued to receive guests from various industries at the exhibitionsite, exchanging views on hot issues in the fields of internationalarbitration, international engineering, outbound investment, foreigninvestment, international trade, maritime and maritime commerce, and so on. HighMark lawyers participated in this exhibition's legal service volunteer groupand provided on-site legal consulting services for Chinese and foreignexhibitors, which fully demonstrated High Mark's responsibility and commitmentin the field of foreign-related legal services.

 

    High Mark was approved to provide legalassistance for the World Leisure Expo. With advantage of lawyers’ internationalbackground, High Mark represented a great number of influential businesses inanti-dumping field with assistance and partnership with foreign lawyers. Also,High Mark successfully represented clients in international arbitration centerssuch as Hong Kong International Arbitration Center (HKIAC), Singapore InternationalArbitration Center (SIAC), London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA),London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), Vietnam InternationalArbitration Center (VIAC) and China International Economic and TradeArbitration Commission (CIETAC) with the amount of subject higher than hundredsmillions of dollars.
